All the surgeons in the Hand Center have had specialized training in hand surgery beyond their speciality education in orthopaedic or plastic surgery. They have a combined experience of more than 125 years in practice, and have contributed over 200 scientific articles and more than 50 book chapters to the orthopaedic and hand surgery literature. All are actively involved in teaching, not only at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, but also on the faculties of regional and national continuing education courses.
